FAQS (Constantly being updated)
How do I hide apps from my profile (aka I don't want everyone knowing as many sex positions as me!)
Totally understandable, you don't want anyone to get the upper hand on you, post 30 dating is uber competitive. Click on your Profile (You) in the header. Click on Edit User Settings --> Privacy Tab. From here you can hide anything you would like!
Why doesn't my magical iPhone display all my apps in order...?
…because we haven't figured it out yet. We're working on it. Right now you can pick favorite apps, they will be display in the order that you add them as a favorite.
Sometimes your recommendations don’t jive with my flow how can I remove them?
Totally dig your vibe here bro’heim. There are little X’s in the corner of recommendations, click those and we will never recommend those apps again. Also...the system gets smarter and we add that data point to future recommendations. Take that
Why do you ask us for our iTunes credentials? That's crazy my credit card is attached to that bro!
We need your iTunes account information in order to sync your applications with the iCloud. Apple, as do we, take security very seriously so we can't actually purchase anything with your account nor see your credit card information. We only pull the applications you've downloaded. All sensitive user data is encrypted.
But…but...CREDIT CARDS are involved!!
So you can't actually read any credit card info or anything sensitive like that when you log-in to iTunes. And if you want to buy something they verify each new iPhone or iPad by having you put in your CCV. Their system is pretty secure against accidental purchases - so even by giving Crosswalk your iCloud access info, you're not giving them the ability to do more than read your app list.
Why do I haaaaaavvee to register with Facebook, they are the devil and they are stealing all my information and selling it to the Illuminati?
You won’t always have to register with Facebook which is why we have you create a separate account on Crosswa.lk as well. We made the executive decision to launch with Facebook because it helps us both control growth and let early adopters impress their geeky friends by being at the cool table first.
I’m so popular on Crosswa.lk I get an email every time something happens and lots of things happen because I’m so popular.
We totally understand how this could get annoying if you are super popular. That’s why we provide the ability for you to change the frequency of notifications. Click on your Profile (You) in the header. Click on Edit User Settings. On the right side of the screen you can choose which notifications you would like to receive.
